The Enneagram in Spiritual Direction

The Enneagram is a spiritual and psychological map that lays out a path to wake up to true self.  Engaging with the Enneagram creates an opportunity to grow in self-awareness, self-understanding, and compassion for self and others. These attributes make it a valuable resource for spiritual directors as they explore two key questions:

· What unconscious patterns are present when I am with directees?

· How can I best support my directees on their spiritual journey?

Our time together will include a guided practice, didactic learning, and small group discussion to expand awareness and deepen understanding of the ways the Enneagram can support spiritual directors and their directees.

This online workshop is designed for spiritual directors who have a basic understanding of the Enneagram system and their own Enneagram type.

Mary Noble Garcia is a spiritual director at Loyola Spirituality Center and a certified Enneagram teacher through The Narrative Enneagram school. In the Enneagram, Mary recognizes a compassionate tool that integrates spirituality, psychology, and body wisdom. Her desire to nurture loving relationships with God, self, and others inspires her to facilitate opportunities to listen with compassion, deepen connections, and grow in freedom. Mary received her MA in theology and certificate in Spiritual Direction from St. Catherine University.
