In an age of heightened fear and uncertainty, many people are turning to spiritual direction with a deep sense of vulnerability. The pressures are real, and the soul's response is a natural part of metabolizing those challenges. What is needed most in these moments are spiritual companions who are attuned to the slow, humanizing work of holding sacred space. Join Sam Rahberg and your spiritual direction colleagues for an interactive webinar designed to renew our commitment to spiritual companionship in a tangled age. Together, we will explore how to help individuals name, accept, befriend, and integrate their fears into the rich tapestry of their spiritual journeys. By fostering these sacred conversations, we participate in and contribute to the collective healing of the world.
As a result of this experience, participants will be able to:
1. Articulate more fully the challenges and responsibilities of spiritual companionship in a time of pervasive fear and anxiety;
2. Practice tools and strategies for normalizing the experience of fear as part of the spiritual journey;
3. Recommit to sacred conversations as essential to our communal healing.
