Mind Mapping Art Retreat

  • Northrup King Building, 3rd Floor Gallery 1500 Jackson Street Northeast Minneapolis, MN, 55413 United States (map)

How do we face the pressing issues of our day? Or tackle the burning issues in our hearts? How do we know what is ours to do? And how do we do it?

In this contemplative art retreat, Peggy Thompson will invite us to use meditation and intuition to create large drawings of images within each of us that describe our passions and dreams to create our futures with hope.

From our images we will lay out our dreams and passions in specific doable pieces on a one-year timeline. We will work in pairs so each person will listen and write while the other person is talking about their image. Every participant will go home with a mind map image  and a practical calendar of specific tasks to unfold over the coming year.

Even though one may not look at the map for months at a time, it will live in the unconscious and  help direct one’s journey. Because the visualization is based on intuition and inner passion, the participants will be aided by the support of the creative unconscious. The motive is not so much an effort of the will or ego, but rather a surrender and letting go so that Spirit can flow and create.

Cost $80. Lunch and art supplies will be provided.
