Meet Maggie (Marguerite) Klaers

Maggie is accepting new directees.

“Who is God?” “Where is God?” “Why doesn’t God just tell me what to do?” On our journey in life these are the big questions that get repeated in some form again and again. Spiritual direction is a safe place in which to ask and to look for answers. Maggie has been seeking and walking herself and with others on this spiritual journey.

She started her training in companioning others with the Cenacle Sisters in Wayzata, certified through St. Catherine’s Masters in Theology program, and interned at Sacred Ground Center for Spirituality. Maggie was blessed to teach in Sacred Ground’s Formation Program to train others in the area of listening and how to facilitate the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. As part of her continued connection to Sacred Ground, Maggie participates in Peer Supervision.

In the years of the practice of prayer, Maggie has explored the gifts found in the 12-step program, explored dreams, methods of prayer, aging, death and dying, and death by suicide. She leads people through the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. And she is currently supervising other directors who are facilitating the Spiritual Exercises.

Maggie meets with seekers on Zoom. She invites seekers to contact her and discuss if she would met their needs.

Maggie identifies as a Christian Catholic.
